Xbox are allowing developers to add demos to Game Pass

Xbox are allowing developers to add demos to Game Pass Xbox Game Pass may be resurrecting the lost art of the game demo. Sarah Bond, Corporate Vice President at Microsoft, said that Xbox are planning on encouraging developers to develop demos of their games for their Game Pass service and will offer financial incentives to developers who develop demos for their service. Bond said "Xbox has seen fewer and fewer opportunities for developers to put games on event showfloors and present them directly to potential fans, and this could harm smaller developers struggling to be seen in an online space." "So we said, you know what, what don't we take Game Pass and make it like the showfloor?," Bond continued. "Why don't we make it possible for developers to take a piece, a level of their game, release it into Game Pass, generate excitement for what's coming, and also get that really valuable feedback as they're tuning and preparing their game for launc...

The first reactions to 'Lightyear' are overwhelmingly positive

The first reactions to 'Lightyear' are overwhelmingly positive The premiere for 'Lightyear', the hyped spinoff of the 'Toy Story' franchise happened last night and the reactions are very promising. The film stars Chris Evans as Buzz Lightyear, but not as we know him. Confusingly, the Buzz Lightyear we know and love, voiced by Tim Allen, is actually the toy version of the real (inside the 'Toy Story' universe) Buzz, a space explorer. While some people had their reservations that a spinoff to the adored Pixar franchise was needed, it's good to hear that that movie seems to be a hit. Here are some of the best reactions on Twitter under the #Lightyear hashtag: There seems to be a lot of love in particular for Sox, Buzz's robotic feline companion in the film, voiced by Peter Sohn. It looks like Pixar took a leaf out of the box of 'The Mandalorian' and went for their own Baby Yoda cutesy companion. Joining Evans and Sohn in the voice cast are...
